Best Water Bottle for Back to School

August 19, 2019 Comments : 15

If you haven’t checked out my back to school essentials for kids, check it out HERE. In it, I talk about the essential items that any kid needs for back to school including a water bottle! This year we have found the best water bottle for Hayden with Zulu Athletic.

Just in time for back to school, Zulu athletic has the Chase Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Kids water bottle.

I was compensated for my review, however all my opinions are my own. Check out my full disclosures HERE.

Best Water Bottle: Zulu Athletic

This is the perfect water bottle for back to school. Not only can it withstand the roughness of my 8 year old boy but it also makes this mom feel better knowing that Antimicrobial Guardian Technology inhibits bacterial growth on drink surface. Countless times, we have had water bottles that grow mold and bacteria in the straws, sometimes not even noticing right away. Zulu Athletic infuses their FDA food grade silicone spouts with antimicrobial additive that inhibits the growth of both those things. In addition to the Antimicrobial Guardian Technology, these water bottles are incredibly easy to clean! As a nurse and a mom knowing that the items my children are drinking from are clean and bacteria free is so important.

Another great feature of the Chase Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Kids water bottle is that it can keep liquids cold up to 24 hours, just add ice. The leak-proof locking lid helps keeps spills to a minimum especially when Hayden throws it into his backpack with all his school items and papers. All you have to do to lock the top is slide the lever on the side of the lid making it easy for even the littlest of hands to do.

Hayden isn’t the only one getting a new water bottle this year. Zulu Athletic has adult bottles that I have been taking with me on the go. Same insulation, same durability, and same antimicrobial additive to eliminate bacteria and mold. On the adult vessel, the bottom screws off to add ice and to make for easier cleaning. Perfect for athletes as well as busy moms, like me, on the go.

You can grab your own Zulu Athletic bottles at Target and Target.com as well as ZuluAthletic.com.

Having never seen this bottle before, I already agree that it might be the perfect thing for everyone. I love that it protects against the bacteria.

I am obsessed with tumblers especially insulators. When I go to the mission field, sometimes it’s too hot, it’s easy to get dehydrated. Insulators really help me survive because otherwise were only served room temp water, and that doesn’t really refresh you.

I love these tumblers. I love the color and the design.

Very stylish really. But I agree, they would fit perfectly on athletic type of activities.. But using it for school won’t hurt. 😉

It’s so great that this bottle is so easy to clean and that it is safe to use by children. I had the same problem with water bottles, they grow mold in the straws and after a few washes they start to smell inside. And then they end up in the bin.

Missed miscarriage. Something I wasn’t prepared Missed miscarriage.

Something I wasn’t prepared for, something I didn’t even know was possible until it happened to me. Something I have thought about for the past couple weeks. Essentially my body still thinks it’s pregnant even though there is no fetal heart activity and so I sit here, after my D&C with all these emotions coursing through me.

I’m sad. Sad for the little life that never really grew and I will never know.

I’m disappointed. Disappointed in my body for not doing what it should have done on its own and having to sit with this while I waited to be scheduled for a D&C.

I’m upset. I’m upset that this happened to me. Upset that it has to happen to any woman.

Finally, I’m pissed. Pissed that I had to go through this alone. That I had to sit in that ultrasound room alone because of the office policy of no visitors. That my husband couldn’t be there when they told me that my baby no longer has a heartbeat and having to make the decision about what to do by myself. I’m pissed that people can go to bars, restaurants and pack themselves into the mall but I couldn’t have someone there to hold my hand while I was delivered news that would turn my entire world upside down.

It just doesn’t make sense. None of it makes sense.
I debated even sharing this sine miscarriage is such a taboo topic, but a lot of people have reached out to see if I’m ok and I don’t want to pretend it didn’t exist as well as to let others know that they aren’t alone during this time even when all they feel is alone.

I took this photo the day I found out I was pregnant, hoping to share it eventually but instead I’ll share it now.

I couldn’t go another day without having this sw I couldn’t go another day without having this sweet photo of both my kids and myself on my feed.

Getting photos with the kids is hard and the majority of the time I’m doing it by myself.
I rely on my camera, tripod and timer to snap these shots and anyone who knows this method can relate to it taking many shots to get something resembling what your initial idea was.
Pretty happy to have finally caught this one and not ashamed to admit there was some bribery involved.
