When I started a blog I was completely clueless on how I was going to get people to read it. I spent hours creating posts that of thought were amazing only to eagerly check my stats later to find that nobody was reading it! What was I doing wrong? Come to find out there are two major things to help extend your blog reach that I was forgetting about completely. One of them was:
Isn’t Pinterest all about adding ideas to your future wedding or baby boards and finding your next meal idea? As I would soon come to find out, Pinterest is far more then just pinning ideas that you find amazing but a way to reach a further audience with your blog. So where to start? I was provided the opportunity to take this course.
This course was given to me for free in exchange for my honest review, however all opinions expressed are my own. You can find my full disclosures HERE
Prior to delving into this e-course I knew minimal about Pinterest and how to use it to boost my blog. I had a business Pinterest page and I was pinning my pins sporadically throughout the week. This course showed me that are multiple opportunities that I was missing in how my page was set up in order to make it look more appealing as well as provide more chances for people to click on my pins. Not to mention the importance of group boards and which was to join and how to join them as well.
Other important topics that the course covers was how and why to join Pinterest group boards and the importance of pinning consistently throughout the day. I for one am terrible about getting on Pinterest and pinning all day everyday. Thankfully, there is a suggestion for that!
It is important to note that Ell talks about Tailwind and how to use that to your advantage to get your pins seen by more people on Pinterest. She delve into detail on how to use this pin scheduler as well as explains what a Tailwind tribe is and how to use them. I have yet to capitalize on this information but it is my next step in boosting up my Pinterest views and subsequently my blog views.
Since taking this e-course my monthly Pinterest views have increased dramatically (up to 13K from only about 1K) and I have seen more and more traffic to my website. I still have a lot of work to do in order to really capitalize on all Pinterest has to offer but this course gives you all the tools you need in order to up your Pinterest game.
Small sampling of what this course will do:
Educate you on how to set up your Pinterest
Teach you how to create the perfect “pin” and a little “pin” refresher trick that is genius
Explain what group boards are
Explain what Tailwind is and how to use it to your advantage
What this course won’t do:
It will not explode your blog traffic overnight. Creating traffic to your site takes hard work and patience but if you use this e-course the visits to your site will increase dramatically as I have seen mine do so over the past month.
If you are looking to up your Pinterest game and get the views that your awesome blog posts deserve check out the e-course at ELLDUCLOS E-course. I know you won’t be disappointed!

I just started Tailwind and it has been great! I did the free trial and now that my free scheduling for pins is up, I want to buy it!
I have not gotten pinterset yet and I guess I needed to start soon to increase the traffic.
That is awesome that your Pinterest grew so much!! It sounds like an amazing e-course! I’ll have to check it out now!!
I have always used pinterst in a creative sense and I love it. I only realised recently that it could benefit my blog. I gained a lot of traffic from a post about Harry Potter cupcakes!
I love the idea! It’s a big help specially in posting blogs. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
This course sounds really good and your stats are pretty impressive. Now you got me thinking about Pinterest 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
That E-course sounds really good and helpful. It is more helpful most especially to all bloggers that want to boost their blog sites by using Pinterest. I will also share this with my friends, thanks your sharing this with us.
I love Pinterest! At least 95% of my blog traffic comes from Pinterest!
I’m kind of sad to see what the course won’t do. I was looking for an answer to all of those things! 😪 Lol
Okay, so really…nice little blog post! 13K from 1K is pretty good! I would take it. I haven’t gotten to the whole Tailwind thing. Mainly because they don’t have a free option.
When I clicked on ” ELLDUCLOS E-course” it took me to a page that said the connection was insecure.
Pinterest really is a powerful social media for bloggers. This was such an interesting post indeed and the course sounds great!
Very informative post. Pinterest is the way to go. Thanks for sharing it with us..!!
Hmm, I keep hearing great things about pinterest, but I’m reluctant to add another social media platform to the list to manage. Plus all my sites images are landscape style so converting them to suitable pins is a job in itself! Is the traffic from Pinterest really that good?
This is so helpful. I haven’t yet dived into this aspect of blogging, and I really need to!
Pinterest … definitely is a part of the long run game… not an overnight sensation for most of us. Thanks for sharing your tips, it’s always helpful to see what others have learned.
Nice article
True that Pinterest can drive traffic to our blogs. Thanks for sharing on how it works because not all are aware of this.
I’d love to grow my Pinterest more, and these info will definitely help. 🙂
I have been wanting to try Pinterest for a while but I wasn’t really sure on where to begin but this post was really helpful. I may have to try it out now.
I know I haven’t fully utilized the power of Pinterest. I do share my own blog posts there, and often pin the posts of other bloggers, but as you have detailed, there’s so much more to it!
Pinterest is mind boggling. I’m struggling with it so this is just what I’m looking for.
It’s really impressive to know that Pinterest can be of so much help. I didn’t pay too much attention to my Pinterest account but you made me change my mind.
I have been feeling the same way! I will definitely check this course out!
