Easter is one week away! And if your anything like me then you are a last minute shopper. Every year around holidays I vow to myself that I am going to get everything ready to go weeks in advance. This never happens. So Easter basket preparation has been no exception.
Thankfully, there is Amazon Prime that can help you get those last minute Easter basket items quickly and from the comfort of your own couch. This list is compiled of all last minute Easter basket items for babies and kids that you can get on Amazon! Read on to create the perfect Easter baskets for kids!
Babies
Socks
The sock monster is real, so adding extra socks to the Easter basket is a perfect way to build up that supply. Plus babies love playing with them so they serve as a toy as well.
Sippy cups
We are adding these sippy cups to Avery’s Easter basket this year.
Books
Our family loves books so it is always nice to add one to any gift.
Stuffed animal
There are so many different stuffed animal to chose from but this bunny stuffed animal is adorable and perfect for Easter.
Balls
Avery loves playing with little plastic balls which also means she is constantly losing them underneath the couch, to the dog or the mysterious black hole that the balls disappear into.
Amazon has packs that have lots of them for a great price. Check out these ones as well as these.
Teething Toys
Teething toys are always a good addition to the Easter basket because not only are they small and adorable they are extremely useful since it seems like babies are teething forever.
Pacifiers
We are constantly losing these especially now that Avery likes to take hers out of her mouth and throw them into places unknown. We like these ones by MAM.
Kids
So granted I have a boy and a lot of my gift ideas are towards a boy and would also work well for the age range of 5-10. These ideas for Easter baskets for kids can help you create the perfect basket for your older kids.
Books
More books! I love that my son loves to read so any opportunity to get him another book I will take it. His favs currently are below.
Any kid loves LEGOs and leaving their tiny little pieces around for you to step on.
Small and portable. My older child loves them. Check out these ones on Amazon.
Playing Cards
Great way to keep kids entertained without a screen or device. You can get a regular deck of playing cards or grab some card games.
Tracing Pad
I got this for Hayden this year and I am super excited for him to get it. He likes to draw but what better way to improve his skills then by giving him a tracing pad. The one I got is linked below.
Now I know I didn’t mention much candy here but honestly I hate giving out a lot of candy at Easter time. Generally I will put some help beans in a plastic egg and call it good. Everything else you need to create the perfect Easter baskets for kids at the last minute is linked below.
What items do you put in your children’s Easter basket? I would love to hear them in the comments below!
Not this year, but maybe next year Easter will be celebrated in this house. It will just be ME and my 3 month old son on Easter, so of course I can celebrate him, but um, he wouldn’t know any different – lol
Lovely ideas Danielle. I’ve handmade Easter Bunny finger puppets and Chick throwing balls in past years. This year they are getting art journals/sketchbooks.

We put candy in ours and sometimes toys depending on our budget for the year, but we always put in things we would not buy them normally that are things we usually say no to so they are things like the little treat toys that I think are just a craze, those kind of things.

Putting clothing in the Easter baskets is a new idea I haven’t heard of before but love it. I just got candy, toys (which my favorite bunny came from), and activities with my Easter baskets when I was little.
When our egg hunters were smaller we realized fairly quickly that the amount of chocolate and candy they found when visiting family was way more they they needed, or us. We opted for gifts that celebrated the day, books, videos and games, maybe something fun and educational.
We love the Robeez socks because they are seamless! Great ideas
