The Ultimate Fall Bucket List

September 17, 2018 Comments : 18

Do you love fall? I have created the ultimate fall bucket list to do with your kids. Click here to see my full list! | fall activities | fall bucket list | kids activities |
Looking for activities to do with your family this fall? Check out this list on what to add to your own personal fall bucket list. | Fall activities | Fall bucket list | Fall | Free activities |

I love fall! I’m sure I’m just like every other boot and cardigan sweater wearing, pumpkin spice everything mama out there but I don’t give a you know what. Fall is my favorite time of the year. Especially here in Maine.

The air is cool and crisp, the leaves change to the most vibrant colors, and the some of my all time fav activities are in the fall. It’s also the time where I transform into a full blown soccer mom as Hayden makes his way back into the field.

Since fall is my favorite time of the year, I decided that I would share my fall bucket list with you all. So here I sit sipping on my pumpkin spice latte and counting down the days till the new tv seasons come back on (don’t judge me) and compiling this list. So here it goes, in no particular order of importance.

Apple picking

I love Apple picking. Taking the kids to go Apple picking is something I make sure we do every year. The apple orchards around my area usually have other fun things for the kids to do beside just picking apples. Plus who doesn’t love all the things apples create; Apple sauce, Apple pie, Apple crisp. Not to mention the amazing Apple and pumpkin donuts that my favorite Orchard makes fresh right on site!

Pumpkin carving

Okay, pumpkin carving is a nice thought in theory but absolutely a pain in the ass in reality. I hate the feel of pumpkin guts all over my hands and trying to stab those little tools through the hard pumpkin exterior make the action of pumpkin carving terrible. But we do it every year because the kids love it and the end creation is pretty cool.

Patriots game

So this is one thing on my bucket list that sadly will not be a reality for me anytime soon. I would give my left arm (I’m right-handed) to attend a New England Patriot’s Game. Football and fall go hand in hand in this household. My nephews play football so at least I can catch a few live games that way!

Hiking

Forget hiking in the summer. The best time to hike is the fall. The weather is perfect and the bugs are minimal. Maine has some pretty amazing hiking trails and some day I will share a list of mine with you all.

Leaf peeping

Living in Maine I get spoiled by all the beautiful colors on the trees that surround me. Even though I live admist this beauty there is nothing better then taking a long drive on a back road in Maine admiring all the colors.

Hayride

Not on my bucket list, but my sons. He loves tractors and big trucks so obviously a hay ride in the fall is a must for him.

Bake something

Fall is the perfect time to bake something. I prefer to bake muffins, apple cinnamon ones to be exact. Or I enjoy making apple sauce after we go apple picking. The smell is absolutely amazing in the home when baking and combine that with the cooler air makes for a perfect fall day.

Trick or Treating

Another one of my son’s favorite things to do in the fall but I love everything about Halloween. We get to go pick out my son’s costume, do the Halloween parade in town and then go around the neighborhood. He gets excited for it every year and in turn I get excited with him. I know this phase where he loves Halloween will end at some point so I will cling to it for as long as I can each year.

Trick or treating 2016

Acadia visit

Since Aaron and I started dating we have taken a trip in the late fall to Acadia National Park every year. It’s the best time because the tourists have all gone home and if you go before December 1st Park Loop Road is still open, meaning you can go throughout the entire park (weather permitting). We are planning another trip back this year in late November and I can’t wait.

What would you add to your fall bucket list? Let me know in the comments!

That is one awesome bucket list! I was just telling my kids a couple of days ago about the autumn colours in your part of the world. The various hues of red and orange are breathtaking! Here in the UK, we tend to get more yellows and reds.

Not only are the essential prior to conception and during pregnancy; they are essential to keep the body healthy after pregnancy as well.
I have openly shared my previous miscarriages before finally getting pregnant with Chloe. This is why I decided to check out the Beli Women Prenatal vitamins to help with my own personal fertility and boost my chances of a having a successful pregnancy. The Beli Women Prenatal vitamins are formulated with powerful ingredients that can boost fertility and conception as well as improve egg quality. As an older mom, this was especially important to me. During pregnancy, the Beli Women Prenatal can protect baby’s brain and spine, help reduce nausea, and then support postpartum recovery and breastfeeding.
And as a busy mom having the ability to order and have them delivered to your door monthly makes it that much easier for me to remember to take them.
