There are so many things to be thankful for this year. This year there have been many moments that I have reflected this past year that I truly am thankful for. Here are the things to be thankful for this year in my life.
You can read all about what I was thankful last year HERE.
Family: Once again the number one thing that I am always thankful for is my family. They are constantly there no matter what, through the good times and the not so good times. With a couple of health scares for both my parents, it made me realize how thankful I am that I have both my parents in mine and my children’s lives and I hope that continues for a really long time.
As always I am thankful to have healthy, happy children. They challenge me, inspire me and show me the meaning of unconditional love. I have grown so much as a mother this past year and have learned how to be even more patience. There are things that I could do better but I am trying and learning as I go and so thankful for being able to be their mom.
I am so thankful to have Aaron as the person to share my life with. Not only does he tolerate and go along with all my crazy ideas but has helped immensely these last few months when I made the switch to working night shift. He’s an amazing dad, a loving partner and hardworking. Our relationship is not always perfect and we don’t always get along but at the end of the day I couldn’t imagine doing this life without him.
Friends that understand life is busy. As always I’m thankful for the friends that understand my busy life as a mom with a full-time job. I know it’s not always easy to be friends with someone that more times then not isn’t able to go out and do things solo but the majority of you have stuck around and supported me through it all.
My writing. This year I was so thankful to have two articles that I wrote published on MOTHERLY and SCARY MOMMY. I am so thankful that I was able to step out of my comfort zone and share my writing with others. I still hesitate a little before I hit publish. But as the months and years go on I am becoming more and more comfortable with what I am putting out there.
A home to call my own. Often times I complain that my home is not big enough for the family that we have created but I am thankful everyday for the home that I have created. I know that when the time comes that we do have to move I will be sad to say goodbye to the first home that I could officially call my own.
My health. Often times I take for granted that I am healthy and able to do a lot of things that others can’t. Up until this point in my life I have had no major health concerns or issues and for that I am incredibly thankful.
The opportunities that I have received. I have always been thankful for the opportunities that I have been given in life. Within the last year blogging has presented me with a whole new set of opportunities to travel, try new products and meet some amazing people. I know that I am lucky to have these opportunities. I will continue to be thankful for anything else that comes my way.
Lastly, once again I am thankful for you. I am thankful for the ones that continue to follow my journey. Who support me through whichever platform I am on. I can’t say thank you enough and hope that you will continue to follow along with my crazy, chaotic life as the years continue on.

We so forget to reflect on the positivities of our life. Sometimes it is indeed difficult to be positive. But amidst all the negativity, if there is a smile on your face…… you win 🙂 three cheers to life 🙂 <3
