Losing weight and keeping it off have always been a struggle for me. I have tried diet after diet to try to lose weight and keep it off. Many were not sustainable because as a busy mom I found it hard to maintain. I finally realized that I needed to change my mindset around what and when I eat in order to be healthier and have more energy not only for myself but my children as well. So when the opportunity to receive an advanced copy of Always Eat after 7pm by Joel Marion, I jumped at it right away. Not only is it perfect for anybody looking to lose weight but also a perfect way to jump start weight loss for busy moms.

Weight Loss for Busy Moms: Read Always Eat after 7 pm
This easy to read book lays out a simple to follow plan consisting of three phases. The Acceleration Phase used to kick start your journey and lead to rapid results. The Main phase where you learn which foods to eat to achieve your weight loss goals and lastly the Lifestyle phase to keep the weight off for good.
Right away the author Joel Marion begins to address common myths surrounding foods. Especially the myth that you can’t eat after a certain time at night. Being a busy mom means that often times I don’t get to sit down and eat or snack till later. I was intrigued and had to know more!
“Research shoes that the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat a the end of the day. Whether it’s 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way.”
I am so ready to change how I think about what I eat and when I eat in order to lose weight, be healthier and have more energy and will be sharing my personal experiences with this program over the next month.
Check out this intro video from Joel himself and why he wrote the book.

I too struggle with finding time to eat while my kiddo is still awake! Sometimes eating at 830 is my only option, so good to know it’s not as bad as previously thought
I have been seeing this always eat after 7 pm a lot lately might need to give a try.
Hi Danielle,
I have to admit that I did purchase this book yesterday after seeing so many posts about it. I just can’t agree with any diet that recommends you to drop your calories all the way down to 1200 calories. I know it’s only supposed to be for 2 weeks, but I just don’t agree with it. I plan to read into the other phases && possibly try them – but I read to that point and turned off my iPad. I think it’s the worst advice to give someone. I’m sorry to say. I know it’s not your book & you are just trying it too! I’m just letting you know what I think about it! I’ll keep in touch!
I have to admit…the title caught my eye! I am interested in what he has to say…I have always heard the “stop eating early” bit to lose weight. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
This is so meaty. Having kids myself i dont get time to manage my weight or even think about eating healthy. This was helpful. X
I have seen oh so many of these “eat after 7” type things. Guess it means that it works, I will be glad to give it a shot.
Oh, wow. I’ve read so much about this book, it must be pretty awesome! I’ve definitely been struggling with weight loss during quarantine. Home workouts are TOUGH for me.
I have been seeing this book in a lot of places and have been intrigued by the science behind it. It is very different than anything I have heard before which makes me wonder what the long term effects will be.
I just gave birth and I’m really hoping that I will be able to lose weight. These insights are very helpful.
I am so into this, and I’m a night eater anyway so it totally works for me!
This book is really awesome and much helpful for everyone..coz health comes first and this book is much informative…
Yet another point of view with “all” the research and deliberations.
I would like to read this book to learn more about this approach.
I’d love to hear more about this book and your personal experiences. I’ll be checking out this book for sure.
Hmmn, for someone like, i believe this article is referring to me, because with family, I believe most mothers understand what I am talking about, eating late, is what we do so much, I would try to start managing it right to stay healthy. Thank you for this article which I find very helpful, it creates awareness of knowing how important it is to take care of ourselves.
Looks like something I should look into! Thanks!
