What’s in My Bag?

July 25, 2020 Comments : 5

As a busy mom I am constantly on the go. i have shared what I put in my diaper bag but realized that I have not once shared what’s in my bag. I am constantly switching products from my work bag, to the diaper bag and then to my gym bag. I am always afraid of missing something or leaving something behind so I created a easy to transfer bag to keep all the essentials in I would want while on the go.

This post is sponsored by Always and Tampax. However, all my opinions are my own. You can find my full disclosures HERE.

What’s in my Bag? 9 Things to always have on hand

Looking for the essentials to always have on hand when you leave the house? Here is what's in my bag and the things I can't leave the house without. | Purse essentials | must have products |

Lip Balm

Especially during those dry, cold winter months.

Headphones

I always forget my headphones when I go to the gym so I have learned to just keep them in my bag at all times. Getting to the gym and realizing you can’t listen to your rage workout music without disrupting your fellow gym goers is disapointing to say the least.

Cash

For when you want to grab that afternoon coffee. Plus it is always good to have cash on hand for emergencies.

Eye Drops

Everything lately seems to dry out my eyes; the weather, allergies, wearing a mask. Plus I wear contacts which make matters even worse. I can’t leave my house without re-wetting drops in my bag.

Feminie Hygiene Products

I don’t ever want to be caught in a situation where I am lacking the appropriate feminie hygiene products. I make sure that I have Tampax tampons and Alway pads on hand for those just in case moments.

The Always Infinity Flex Foam pads make it possible to have zero feel and zero leaks. So thin and flexible, this pad moves with you while you go about your day. Not only does it over 10 hours of leak protection, but it comes in 5 different sizes so you are sure to find the perfect fir for your body.

Tampax pearl tampons are also great to have on hand for your (or your friend’s) protection. These tampons come in 5 different absorbencies since every day of your period is not the same and feature a LeakGuard braid that helps stop leaks! Another thing I love about the Tampax Pearl tampons is that they are free of perfume or chlorine bleaching and are gentle on skin. If that’s not enough to convince you; Tampax Pearl tampons are the #1 US Gynecologist recommended tampon brand based on a 2020 survey.

Did I mention that from now until July 25th you can save $4 off 2 products at Stop & Shop. This promotion can be found at Stopandshop.com and the BrandSaver weekly paper which is available in stores! Hurry, this deal will only last till July 25th.

Hair Ties and Bobby Pins

For obvious reasons.

A Pen

You would be surprised about how many times I have needed a pen and have not had one. Now I carry one with me everywhere I go.

Hand sanitizer

Another item that has become a neccessity lately.

Lotion

My skin always seems to be dry no matter the time of year so I keep lotion on hand for just that purpose.

A few must haves in my bag are snacks, nail clippers and wipes of some sort! My bag is ALWAYS full of a random assortment of things but if I have those 3, I’m good!

I always have Tampa’s in my bag! It’s a must for those moments just in case. I think it’s something most women have in their purse or bag.

Happy thirty-something birthday to me!! Birthdays Happy thirty-something birthday to me!!

Birthdays used to be a big deal to me, now not so much. Getting older was scary but as the years have gone on, I look at another year older means another year of growth.

Growing as a person, a mom, a friend, a wife, and growing in my own personal goals. My life is pretty damn good and I am loving every second of growing older with the amazing people around me. So cheers to another year around the sun!

Also, getting a photo with balloons is about as hard as getting a photo with your children just in case anyone was wondering! ❤️

The extra strength and softness as well as the beautiful prints and patterns help this mama keep the sniffles at pay. Especially with this little one of mine who is constantly trying to wipe her nose on just about everything.

Our @icecastles_ adventure was a success! The kids Our @icecastles_ adventure was a success! The kids loved all the fun ice slides, hidden pathways and thousands upon thousands of icicles frozen together to create this winter escape.
Looking to visit one near you? Here are my tips to make your visit fun and exciting.

1. Dress for the weather. Snow pants, hats, boots and warm clothing are a must. We spent over an hour there and the children only complained once they were cold.

2. Mask up. Masks are required. We took ours off briefly for the photo, making sure there was plenty of distance between us and others.

3. Book ahead. You can book your reservation online and it is highly suggested. Times sell out quickly during vacation weeks and on weekends. The day we went was sold out.

4. Bringing a really small child? Make sure to bring a sled to pull them on or put them in a carrier. Strollers will not move through the snow and ice.

5. Visit at night if you can. We didn’t this year but in years past we have gone at night when the Ice Castles are lit up with lights making it that more magical.

Lastly, have fun and stop by the little fire pits set up throughout to warm up.

Have you been to the @icecastles_ this year? What did you think?!
