Traveling to Orlando, Florida can be a huge undertaking for any family. Recently we traveled to Orlando to spend a few days before heading off on a 7 day Carnival Cruise. When looking around for places to stay, I wanted to make sure that where we stayed was going to fit our large families needs and be fun! Thankfully I came across Lake Bueuna Vista Resort and Spa as one of the best Orlando family resorts to stay at!
The resort did host my stay in exchange for a review, however, all my opinions are my own. You can find my full disclosures HERE.
Why Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa?
Family Friendly Atmosphere
You may be saying to yourself that there are so many options to stay in and around Orlando, Florida so why stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa? The main reason to stay here is the family atmosphere. They offer family suites that have one, two, even three and four bedroom accomadations. Perfect for the larger family. The suites also have a living room, dining room area and a full kitchen.
Don’t want to eat out? You can stock the full sized fridge and freezer with all your families favorite meals and snacks. It also comes with a coffee maker, stove and sink. Everything that you would have in your own kitchen at home you will have here.
Kid Friendly
When looking for a place to stay it is important to find someplace that is kid friendly. The pool here is absolutely kid friendly. With a giant pirate ship in the large pool the has a water slide, kids are free to play, splash and have fun. Hayden and Avery both love swimming and playing in the pool so we spent many hours out there doing just that. They also have an arcade on site for the kids to play in if they wish.
Adult Friendly
Kid friendly resorts are great for those with families, but it is also beneficial to have amenities that the adults will love too. Lake Buena Vista Resorts and Spa has just that. With a pool side bar, full spa that you can relax in and outlet shopping right next door, the adults will enjoy their stay just as much as the kids. One thing that I loved about out two bedroom suite was the balcony that overlooked the pool area. It was nice to sit out there in the morning with a cup of coffee or after the kids went to bed and just relax.
One more thing that was a perk was the added security the resort seemed to offer. It was on a dead end street that made it feel as though it was it’s own little community. Each building required room keys to access which added to a better feeling of security while at the resort.
Close to Attractions
One of the great things about Lake Buena Vista Resort and spa is that they are close to the theme parks. Disney World especially. About 2 miles from Disney, this resort also offered shuttle service to and from the park. Just make sure to check in with the concierge to find out times and location pickup for the park shuttles. Since parking at the resort is free (which is not the case for every hotel in the area) you can leave your car parked while you explore the parks and avoid the high fees associated with parking at Disney or Universal.
So next time you are thinking of a family vacation to Orlando, Florida make sure you check out Lake Buena Vista Resort and spa for your Orlando family resorts choice. You can check out their website HERE.
