Wiivv Insoles for the Win!!!

October 30, 2018 Comments : 25

Looking to make your shoes more comfortable? Wanting to go that extra mile on your runs? Check out my full review of Wiivv custom insoles that are made to fit your feet perfectly. | Running | Shoes | Insoles | Comfort | Nurse Life |

I have big feet. There I said it. My feet are ginormous. It’s terrible to grow up as a woman with big feet. Say goodbye to cute, dainty shoes and say hello to the men’s section. Not many retailers carry women’s shoe size past a size 10 making it extremely hard to shop for shoes that not only fit my feet but are comfortable. Thankfully I discovered Wiivv, the custom insole that is created from pictures (yes, pictures) of your very own feet!

I was given this product in exchange for my review, however all opinions expressed are my own. You can see my full disclosures HERE.

So what is Wiivv? To check out their website and see all they have to offer go HERE.

To put it simply Wiivv offers insoles that are customized to your specific feet. There are two sizes: full length or 3/4 length. They also offer sandals as well. For me; I chose to get the full length insoles because I was looking to make my walking shoes and work shoes more comfortable. The 3/4 length are more suited for dressier type shoes such as flats.

The process to order your own insoles is incredibly easy. Download the app. Once you get into the app and create an account, you will get prompted to take pictures of your feet with your own smart phone step by step.

Once you take your pictures, you can pick the design you want as well as the color of the shell.

I know you are asking yourself if pictures of your feet can accurately be transferred to an insole that fits your feet. Well I am here to tell you that the accuracy is astounding. My insoles were created to fit my feet perfectly even down to the differences in the size of my arches from one foot to another.

As soon as these arrived I immediately replaced my shoes insole with these. The best part is these insoles are universal and can just about fit in any sneaker that you put them in. I first decided to put them in my running, okay walking, shoes since I was finding I was needing more support to get through my morning walks. Almost instantly I noticed a difference in my feet. My feet felt better, had less pain and felt as though I could walk longer.

Wiivv insoles have completely transformed the way I wear my sneakers. As a busy mom and emergency room nurse I spend the majority of my day on my feet. When I am not working, my family enjoys to get out and enjoy the great outdoors including going on hikes. Knowing that at the end of the day my feet won’t be in pain makes these activities much more enjoyable.

Missed miscarriage. Something I wasn’t prepared Missed miscarriage.

Something I wasn’t prepared for, something I didn’t even know was possible until it happened to me. Something I have thought about for the past couple weeks. Essentially my body still thinks it’s pregnant even though there is no fetal heart activity and so I sit here, after my D&C with all these emotions coursing through me.

I’m sad. Sad for the little life that never really grew and I will never know.

I’m disappointed. Disappointed in my body for not doing what it should have done on its own and having to sit with this while I waited to be scheduled for a D&C.

I’m upset. I’m upset that this happened to me. Upset that it has to happen to any woman.

Finally, I’m pissed. Pissed that I had to go through this alone. That I had to sit in that ultrasound room alone because of the office policy of no visitors. That my husband couldn’t be there when they told me that my baby no longer has a heartbeat and having to make the decision about what to do by myself. I’m pissed that people can go to bars, restaurants and pack themselves into the mall but I couldn’t have someone there to hold my hand while I was delivered news that would turn my entire world upside down.

It just doesn’t make sense. None of it makes sense.
I debated even sharing this sine miscarriage is such a taboo topic, but a lot of people have reached out to see if I’m ok and I don’t want to pretend it didn’t exist as well as to let others know that they aren’t alone during this time even when all they feel is alone.

I took this photo the day I found out I was pregnant, hoping to share it eventually but instead I’ll share it now.
